1469: October 8, "Thammen von de Dressel" was sold by Heinrich
von Kokeritz 3 "Schock Geldes" and 2 "Malter Korn" in the village
of Freienwalde in the district of Schweinitz for 150 Rheinische
Florien with the right of redemption in 3 years, a4.10.
1470: Feb. 3 or 7, Sunday after the feast of Mary's purification,
"Thymen von der Drossele," Margarethe, his wife, will receive
yearly, as a widow's annuity 19 Schock Groschen interest in
money, oats and chickens from Gross and Klein Rossin as well
as ????? the farm and estate of Klein Roessin, with all rights
? The heirs of Thyme von der Droessel have the right to
redeem the farm and estate for 150 Rheinissche Florins, witnesses
were "Gunther von der Dressel," Hans and Baltazar Arras, a4.11
1472: Jan. 28, "Thame von der Drossel" and Heinrich Loser
were witnesses for signing og Barbara's widow annuitym she was the
wife of Cunz von lamperswalde, a4.12.
1474: "Thammo v.d. Droessel" of Klein Rossin (Klein Roessen)
has 1 estate consisting of 3 hufen (45 ha.) with 3 "huefnern"
and 7 "Gaertnern," m3.2.
1474: "Tham von der Drossle" has an estate with 3 free
Hufen (=45 ha.) in Klein Roessen and the village of Klein Roessen
from which he receives 1 Schock 31 Groschen 3 Pfennig in
cash, 15 malter oats, 300 hens and 1 Schock eggs, (=80 eggs.)
3 Huefner, 7 Kossaeten in Klein Roessen. ? From 1/2 of
the village Gross Roessen with 8 Huefner and 3 1/2 Kossaeten
from which he receives 5 Schock 37 Groschen in cash, 30

1474: "Gunther von der Drossel" belongs to the Schlieben
Amt??? reports: 50 occupied>>> under which 6 have no
fileds or acreage, m3.1. (get translated)
1474: "Gunther von der Drossel" has one village in the Sclieben district
and also some peasants in the Liebenwerda district, namely
10 peasants who work on 180 hectares, 6 peasants who only have
on garden, and 1 desert garden? From this he earns
9 Schock 54 Groschen cash, 2 1/2 Malter rye.......and
7 hens. Since Gunther has his property in two
districts, he requested from the Kurfuerst that, in time of
war or feud that he be obligated only to serve from the Schlieben

were invested in fief by the Duke of Ernst of Saxony in the
district of Schweinitz with 4 malter corn, 4 malter oats,
4 chickens which is to be given annually, and with Fleischzehnten
from 4 peasants from the village Dubro, which was sold to him
by his cousin "Hans von der Drossle." (Gunther's) brother
"Thamm" and his cousins "Hans" and "Nickel" were also invested
at the same time. In the event that "Gunther" should die
without heirs, his brother "Thamm" should inherit, and if he
(Thamm) dies without heirs, his cousins "Hans" and "Nickel"
should inherit, a4.10 (if his fief was sold to him by his cousin
Hans, then why is Hans included in the fief?)
1484: Jan. 12, Monday, Feast of St. Erhart, Lochau (Colochau,)
Saxony, "Gunthern von der Drosell" was invested in fief by Duke
Ernst of Saxony, with 4 Malter of corn from the district Schweinitz
and the "bede" from his ??? in Dubrow, 2 smoked chickens, and
the "Fleisschzehnten" which was sold to him by Gotz von Wolfferstorff,
Amtmann in Schlieben. Invested at the same time were his
brother "Tham" and his cousins "Hans" and "Nickel" von der Drosell,
witnesses, among others, were count Sigmund zu Gleichen, Jorge
Schenk Lord zu Tautenberg, a4.10.

Drossel's" wife, Dorothea is granted a widow's annuity by Duke
Ernst of Saxony of 60 neue Schock, 7 malter hafer, 1/2 schock
chickens? from the village of Lochaw (Colochau) by Herzberg,
and 4 malter corn from Dubro. Witnesses were "Nickel von
der Drossell" and Nickel von Kokeritzch, a4.10.
1486: May 24, Wednesday, vigil of Corpus Christi, Torgau,
Saxony, "Gunther" is invested in fief, and at the time so are
"Thame and his cousin "Nickel" by Duke Ernest of Saxony, with
1 Schock Geldes as a yearly interest from the 3 farms in Schlieben
which were sold to him (Gunther) by Gotz von Wolffersdorf, who
is now the Amtmann in Schlieben. At his (Gunther) death
without heirs, the Schock will go to "Thammen" and "Nickel"

1474: "Nickel von der Dressel unde Hans sein bruder" have
the farm in Kollochow, where they have 3 free Hufen (=45 ha)
and 1/2 of the village Kollochow with 10 Hufen (=150 ha,) from
which they receive 10 Schock (=60 Groschen) and 25 Groschen
in cash, 144 Malter oats, 35 hens and 1 Schock 33 eggs (=93
eggs.) From 1/2 of the village Gross Roessen with 13 Huefner
(peasants) and 1 1/2 Kossaeten (peasants) who have only a garden,)
they receive 5 schock 25 Groschen in cash money, 8 hens and
Schock 6 eggs (=66 eggs.) From the village Hohenbucko
(Bucko), which belongs to the Kurfurst, they receive 18 Groschen,
54 Malter rye and 16 malter oats. From the village Dubro,
which belongs to the Kurfurst, they receive 48 malter rye
and 48 malter oats, a1.2.
1477: June 18, Wednesday after St. Veit, Schweinitz, Saxony,
"Nickel von der Drossel" and Jorge Pickler are witnesses for
the widows annuity of Agnes, the wife of Clauss von Tenstedt,
a 4.10.

1481: Dec. 26, Tuesday after Thome, Herzberg, Saxony, "Nickel
von der Drossel," his wife, Barbara, was granted by Duke Ernst
of Saxony, a widow's annuity of 1/2 of the village Lochaw (Colochau)
with servants, all rights, all property and 1 free farm with
three free "hufen" and 2 free fields, one called the Holy Field,
the other called Walmans field ???, a4.10.

1499: Aug. 25, Sunday after St. Bartholomei, Torgau, Saxony,
"Barbara von der Drossel widow" (of Nickel) requests the appointment
of a new guardian because er guardian died. Gotz von Wolffirsdof,
Amtmann in Schlieben, and Ditterich Grunrode zu Korn were appointed
her new guardians, a4.12.
1507: May 2, "Barbara Drosselern Witwe," Kurfurst Friedrick
of Saxony confirms that Matthes Loser and Georg Hondorf are
Barbara's new guardians, a4.13.

CHRONOLOGY:
1454: Konitz (Chojnic, Pomorze) Poland, "Hans von der Drosele,"
fought in the battle of Konitz as a noble mercenary for the
order of Teutonic knights which defeated the Polish army in
this battle. He served under Reusse von Plauen, the younger,
who was a mercenary leader and member of a family prominent
in the history of the order, p16.
1468: Nov. "Hans von der Drosele" is listed as having had
the following losses during the battle of Konitz, one white
horse worth 38 ff, one bay horse worth 30 gulden, one white
horse worth 22 ff and one crossbow worth 2 gulden.
Comment: This means that Hans was accompanied by at least
two servants, one of which had a crossbow in the battle which
he lost. This battle is in the archive.

and "Thoman" also brothers, are invested in fief, by Kurfurst
Friedrich of Saxony, with estates in the Schlieben district,
namely Lochau (Colochau) Gross and Klein Rossin with the rights
over " Hals und Hand cp.," in the village Buckaw ??? get
